Quotable value,s latest data revealed Wellington house values have risen 21% in the last year compared to Auckland,s 15%.

The QV Price Index showed the average for Auckland is $1031,253.00 compared to Wellingtons $553,023.00. In Wellington the average value on latest reports is now $661,927.00.

The national house value average currently is $619,660.00.

Other areas to have substantial gains are

Hamilton 27% increase to $529,236.00.

Tauranga 28% increase to $644,297.00.

Dunedin 12% increase to $339,201.00

Christchurch 4.4% increase to $495,723.00

Regional areas are also experiencing strong growth with Western Bay Of Plenty ,Rotorua , Kawerau , Hauraki district ,Whangarei , Napier , Hastings, and Nelson being stand out performers.
