I was taught good old school principles and methods of producing quality workmanship by my father, and most importantly, he also taught me about satisfying our clients with a complete building service.
In my early years as a builder I was involved in our family business, Nicasa Homes. This was a successful business building new spec homes and houses which were sold off plans before completion. I then went out on my own and have been working as a self-employed builder ever since. I formed Nicol Renovations Ltd as my company in 2006.
From there we have specialised in residential renovations on modern homes, older homes, villas, bungalows both large and small, leaky homes and reclads. We deliver quality, completed renovation projects for our clients on a regular basis. We are part of the licensed building practioner scheme and proud to be so. Why settle for anything less?
At Nicol Renovations Ltd we believe that in addition to all the legal requirements that must be in place between construction companies and their clients, there is something else that is equally important: trust. It is vital that clients have trust in their main building contractor: that they are confident they are in expert hands. Clients need to feel comfortable and know that their builders will go that extra mile for them and that their needs and wishes are being heard.

At Nicol Renovations Ltd we are kept well up to date with changes in the industry. We are members of The Building Hub and, as such, we receive regular Codeword emails from the Department Of Building and Housing (DBH) are are kept abreast of new regulations etc. Along with other Auckland construction companies we attend seminars and receive regular literature from suppliers and merchants.
The Building Hub also supply us with contracts, health and safety plans, site specific induction plans etc. As we say “Build once, build right”.
