It Pays To Train

With the current demand in the building industry being so high we are in need of more apprentices to learn trades across the board.

On the positive side it is said that trained workers will take between 6-10 years to reach full proficiency while an untrained worker will take longer and only ever up being 60 to 70 % proficient.

Companies training staff  will grow 6% faster , estimate work 3% more accurately ,take 2% fewer hours to complete same task or project ,and charge 44 cents more per hr per person.

Some differences between the pros and cons of this are highlighted in the attached link below and is worth a read if you are considering taking on an apprentice.    It pays to train _ BRANZ Build.
