With prices for housing increasing at a alarming rate nationwide Labour has urged the government to address the emergency of housing for the homeless people of New Zealand.

Many first home buyers can simply not afford the increases in house prices and the increases in rent prices as well leaving them no option to live on the streets, cars, camping grounds etc.
